You may have received an offer letter from your dream Canadian university or still shortlisting which countries to study. Whatever the reason is, seeking the idea of receiving an international education itself is a unique idea. However, there are lots of technical difficulties involved. After receiving the offer letter, you must follow each step of the immigration policies carefully, with one of the essentials being obtaining a valid student visa on time.
The Canadian government provides a Study Permit and a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to international students who have already received an offer letter from a DLI-registered Canadian institution. A study permit is issued by the CIC (Citizen and Immigration) to international students, and it remains valid till the student remains enrolled in the course. Do not confuse a study permit and a visa. A study permit is a visa; instead, it is accompanied by an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or a visitor visa.
